I worked as a professional chef in various hotels for 8 years, but now cooking is just my hobby. But one fact remains: the most important thing in daily work is a sharp knife. Only when the knife glides quickly through the onion or tomato can you enjoy preparing the dishes. That's why the "knife sharpening" apprenticeship was an essential part of the training. For years, I have sharpened not only my own blades, but also those of colleagues, relatives and friends, razor sharp. I only use high-quality Japanese whetstones with different grains from 300 - 10,000.

Since all knives are different, I only sharpen them by hand. This guarantees that they do not burn out during the sharpening process and become "razor sharp" in the truest sense of the word. I can even breathe new life into porcelain knives by using diamond-studded whetstones.


I sharpen the most popular and well-known brands. Your favorite knives will be sharper than the first day! It doesn't matter if they are the most expensive blades or just everyday household knives. I have no affiliation with any brands, but I know how to sharpen them properly.




Having blunt knives in the house is just as bad as not having any knives in the house ;-), so I try to sharpen the knives for you within a day. My prices depend on the degree of bluntness and the effort involved, but are in the range of 5 - 10 EUR.

Why did I start the knife sharpening business alongside my main job as a dog groomer?

  1. I sharpen the scissors and blades for my salon myself anyway
  2. I have been sharpening knives for family and friends for what seems like an eternity
  3. Customers who come with their dogs have been asking me for some time whether I can also sharpen their knives
  4. there is no good knife sharpener in the area
  5. and probably most importantly: I really enjoy sharpening knives
